XrayTech KBY31 X-ray television system designed for monitoring various cylindrical objects and shells.

Radiation Protection Chamber

As a protective chamber, both a stationary concrete chamber of the enterprise and a prefabricated lead-steel one can be used. The protective chamber is equipped with locking and alarm systems, a lighting system, a labyrinth window (for entering the necessary cables), supply and exhaust ventilation.

Manipulator

The manipulators of the tube and detector are located on the same horizontal traverse, which moves vertically. The X-ray tube and the detector are mounted on rods that move independently along this horizontal guide.

Transfer cart

The object of control is delivered to the control zone by means of a motorized cart. The cart positioning system ensures that it stops strictly under the horizontal guide with X-ray tube and detector manipulators. To increase the control performance, the cart is equipped with an object turntable.

X-ray machine

X-ray devices of cable type with anode voltages up to 600 kV are used as a source of X-ray radiation.

X-ray detector

As an X-ray detector, radiation-resistant high-resolution flat-panel detectors with a different area of the working area are used depending on the size of the opening of the control object.

Management

From the control panel of the X-ray television complex, the operator remotely controls the movements of the manipulator, as well as the X-ray machine. The relative location of objects in the control zone is displayed on the operator’s monitor using a video surveillance system.

The manipulator is controlled both from the workplace of the operator of the X-ray television complex and from small consoles located directly next to the equipment inside the camera.

In the presence of an optional automation system of the complex, automated control of the same type of products is possible according to a certain preset program.
